Tiara Jackson (@ImRoyal_T) is a proud alumna of the George Mason University Class of 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Studies and minors in Communication and Sports Communication. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a Marketing Intern for BET Networks in the summer of 2010. During her time at Mason, she interned with various companies, such as Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the Washington Redskins, as well as, American Red Cross as the Celebrity & Entertainment Outreach Intern. She was President of the GMU Chapter of NAACP and the PR Chair for the ‘Notorious, Oh So Glorious’ Omicron Iota Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was also a resident advisor in Hampton Roads for 1.5 years. After graduation, Tiara began working as a TV Extra on shows such as House of Cards, VEEP, The Blacklist, and Randy to the Rescue. She has also worked the red carpets of the 2014 BET Awards and 2015 BET Honors as a talent escort. Currently, Tiara strategizes on-air marketing promotions for National Geographic Channel. This fall, Tiara will begin her pursuit of a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communication at American University.
